Shang Quartermasters from 1963-67 Reuniting in Pittsburgh in October 2010

A number of Quartermasters who served onboard the USS Shangri-La from 1963 through 1967 are having a reunion from October 14-17, 2010 in Pittsburgh, at the Marriott Residence Inn near the Pittsburgh International Airport.

The guys couldn't get it together in time for this last Junes full Shang reunion but having just recently found each other and after some 45 years decided to go ahead with this later date. While the search is ongoing so far the group includes Gary Schwerr, Joe Brinkley, Ron Felter, Larry Chase, Walter Rezcek, Pat Gallagher, George Mitchell (Ens.), Guy Vorsanger, Ken Simmons and Michael Baillargeon. We all, God willing, will be in Pittsburgh come October. In the last few days we've found Theodore Pitt and Bob Mummendy and are hopeful they will be able to join us.
